Your funds at Illinois Community Credit Union are secure and strong! As news reports tell of other financial institutions in distress, it is important to know that ICCU remains safe, secure, and financially strong.
Our strong business practices allow us to remain secure in these trying times. We follow sound financial underwriting practices and provide members with professional guidance. We are a non-profit financial cooperative, and we are chartered and supervised by the State of Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (DFPR).
We are also insured and supervised by the federal government through the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). The NCUA insures member share accounts up to $250,000* per member and an additional $250,000 per member for Individual Retirement Account monies. Additional questions about NCUA insurance can be directed to the NCUA Insurance Call Center, operating from 8 am to 6:30 pm (EDT) Monday through Friday.
